From GeoJSON upload to verified carbon credit β here is exactly what happens, and why it matters.
Developers uploads their forest boundary file via the dashboard.
The project status is updated on your Dashboard QUEUED_FOR_AUDIT. The Developer receives an email confirmation. /p>
QUEUED_FOR_AUDIT
Our AI-powered Canopy Height Model v2 generates a canopy height raster at ~2m resolution.
Carbon stock is estimated using the IPCC Tier 1 above-ground biomass formula: AGB = 0.066 Γ heightΒ²Β·β΅βΉ. Total COβe = AGB Γ 0.47 Γ 3.67.
AGB = 0.066 Γ heightΒ²Β·β΅βΉ
The output includes: a GeoTIFF heatmap and carbon estimate in tonnes, along with vital analysis
An auditor views the GeoTIFF heatmap rendered as a raster layer over the project boundary on Mapbox GL JS. They compare the canopy density, review the carbon estimate, and guides you through Project Development Stages.
After verification, credits are minted atomically in a single database transaction: 1 credit per tonne COβe. (e.g. CPT-2026-000142). The project goes live on the marketplace immediately.

Most carbon registries audit once and forget. We don’t. Every approved project is automatically re-audited every 90 days using the same satellite AI pipeline.
The original audit sets the baseline carbon stock. Every re-audit compares current tree cover to that baseline and computes a Forest Health Score (0β100).
